What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you give us (forms, email signups, scheduling)
- Information collected automatically (cookies, analytics)
1. Advisory-Client Information (RIA Requirements)
As a registered RIA, we collect personal information needed to provide investment-advisory services. This may include:
- Name, address, phone number, email
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Financial-account details
- Investment goals and risk profile
- Tax information
- Account balances and transaction history
We collect this information only with your authorization. We use it to deliver advisory services and meet regulatory requirements.
We do not sell this information. We share it only with:
- Team members who need it to serve you
- Custodians and other financial-service providers you work with
- Regulators when required by law
Our duty of confidentiality continues even after you stop being a client.
2. Comments
Our site does not currently use public commenting features. If comments are enabled in the future, WordPress may collect:
- Comment form data
- IP address and browser user-agent
- A hashed version of your email to check Gravatar

3. Media Uploads
We do not allow public uploads. If this changes, visitors should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), since others may extract it.
4. Contact Forms
When you submit a contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. We use this information for customer service. We do not use it for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.
We retain contact-form submissions for up to 12 months.
5. Newsletter Sign-Ups
If you join our newsletter, we collect your email address and name. We use this only to send updates you requested. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Your information is stored by our email provider, Mailchimp.
6. Scheduling Tool
When booking a meeting, you may provide your name, email, optional phone number, and meeting notes. This information is processed by our scheduling provider, Calendly, and used only to schedule and manage appointments.

We use cookies for:

- Advisory-client data: retained as required by Colorado and federal regulations (often at least 5–7 years)
We keep only what is necessary.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
You may request:

- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of data we are not legally required to keep
